The Pleasure Principle

The Joy of Watching Your Business Grow

Pleasure is a mental state that we experience as positive and enjoyable, and it is always worth seeking.

If you want positive feedback on your smoothie shop or restaurant, you’ll need to activate the mechanism in the human psyche that labels your place in the folder marked Pleasurable. Art, music and literature are universally regarded as pleasurable. Eating and exercise can also be categorized as sources of pleasure.

Once experienced, the mind has a natural tendency to compel a person to return to the source of familiar pleasures. These are key psychological impulses that chain-store franchises draw upon and capitalize upon. There is no reason why the single-site entrepreneur cannot employ the same tactics; the pleasure principle.

Matcha is an easy upsell. It is the ingredient elite, able to blend into so many recipes so smoothly; it enhances the presentation of the plate or cup with its vibrant green color; and its distinctive flavor locks onto the taste buds and registers itself with the memory as pleasureable.

Matcha is the premium grade of the tea leaf.

Matcha is the whole tea leaf, powdered.

Matcha is sought out for its high levels of antioxidants.

Matcha pairs well with sugar, cream and rich ingredients such as chocolate.

Matcha can be infused with buttercream and used as a topping on something as universally pleasureable as cupcakes.

Matcha can make a green tea cheesecake, green tea ice cream, matcha creme brulee, cake and pudding.

Matcha can be the surprise creamy filling in an eclair or cream puff.

Matcha can be added to your fudge brownies with green tea mousse.

Matcha is the premium ingredient that not all restaurants serve and it can make your place the place to return to.

About MatchaGT by ShelleRae

Welcome! I am ShelleRae and I am very excited you are here. I joined the Smoothie Essentials team about 5 years ago now. Always health conscious and into prevention versus medication it seemed natural when the opportunity came up to take on the creation of this blog and the Smoothie Essentials blog as well. As mother to three and surrogate to many more I've practiced much of what I write on sometimes with great success and other times with a bit less. My friends and family are my test kitchen and my facts are most often from WebMD - they seem to have a fairly accurate and conservative approach. MatchaGT – the super premium Matcha Green Tea Introducing Matcha GT, the super premium Matcha Green Tea. Matcha GT is nature’s natural source of energy and antioxidants. Used for centuries in Japanese tea ceremonies, Matcha provides a powerful pick-me-up plus antioxidants and other health benefits to keep the body, mind and spirit in perfect balance. While many forms of green tea are strained or brewed, Matcha GT uses the whole tea leaf providing the full benefits and bold taste of whole green tea powder. My inspiration comes from others who also are striving to live a better life through lifestyle changes.
